How the worst non-call in history changed the entire 2016 playoff landscape

A Bronco defensive player steps out of bounds during a 2-point conversion that gave the Broncos a win and changed the entire landscape of the AFC playoff race.

Just prior to the start of the early morning games Sunday and the NFL hosts were speaking of the recent spate of blown calls in the NFL, talking about the officials not being full time employees, wondering if they should be, and wondering exactly what the repercussions should be if a ref blows a call.

And there it was....great game in New Orleans yesterday as Drew Brees pulled together a late drive to knot things up with the Boncos. Saints line up for the extra point, it's blocked, Denver returns it, runner runs perilously close to the out-of-bounds line, takes it to the house and Denver wins, 25-23.

Hold it, all scoring plays are reviewed and after review at home, awwww Denver, that's too back but your boy clearly stepped on the sideline, we're going to overtime.

Nope, after further review, the runner did not step on the sideline, Denver wins.

Shut up...

And now, this morning, in hindsight, everyone's suggesting the white shoes and socks may have been the culprit.....Just shut up NFL, ya blew the call, the one we all had figured out at home seconds after it happened, in real-time even, and now, all hell breaks looks in the NFL standings because of said blown call.

Denver is 7-3 and ready to heal up during after a tough stretch with injuries. Instead of being 6-4 and two games behind the Raiders and Chiefs the Broncos are right there.

Saints should be 5-4, assuming they would have gotten the win, at home in overtime. Instead, they are 4-5, facing an uphill battle despite the division they play in not being very good.

Yeah, one more blown call, one more oops from the NFL...

C'mon man, we get it that it's hard to make plays at game speed with the greatest athletes on earth but we all saw it, we all figured it out, how come you see the same thing we're seeing and don't make the call.

Indisputable my rear end....BOO!

And don't think we didn't notice the miss on the non call of the Cole Beasley facemask galore....How do you miss that. The guy with the ball nearly gets his head ripped off an no one called that....WOW, C'mon refs the game is clunky with too many penalties but we're trusting that you make the right call with games, millions of dollars and the very playoff fortunes of every team in the league hanging in the balance.
