Florida Gators: Biting the Tigers

The Florida Gators made a stand and a big one today against the LSU Tigers. It was the final stand and the final play of the game that ultimately decided the game and fortunately went in the Gators favor.

The game was very back and forth most of the time at 7-3 the Gators scored off a deep touchdown pass to put them up 10-7. Then LSU scored a field goal to put the game tied at 10-10. Later Florida's kicker scored two field goals to make the game 16-10.

The LSU Tigers drove the length of the field on the final play of the game. They even converted a fourth down to get into the red zone. It wasn't looking good for the Gators since the Tigers had all four downs to get into the end zone.

On fourth down the Gators needed a stop with three seconds to go in the game. The Tigers handed the ball off and he is stopped no good the Gators win the game on the goal line! The Gators next game is against Florida State University and will be a warm up game for the showdown in Atlanta against Alabama. Hopefully they can win in Tallahassee and then take that into the game against the Tide.
