R.I.P. Jose Fernandez

I will be honest I don't watch baseball even the Miami Marlins. However I know what losing someone is like. When you love that person to death and you never said good bye to them.

Or wanted to tell them how you really felt and that you loved them but you just didn't have the chance. Jose Fernandez was an example of this. Many people right now are wishing they told him how much they loved him and cared about him.

You don't have to watch baseball to know that this is a tragedy. I have lost a family member who was also 24 so this definitely resonates with me. I've had many loved ones die some almost die. We've all lost stuff we all are people hurting in a very pain filled world.

But let me ask you this do you know there is hope in such times? Did you know there is a peace that can calm or raging storms? There is hope in the cross and in Jesus Christ.

So even when these terrible things happen and we ask why would a loving God do this? Remember we live in a fallen world and God has an ultimate plan.

Romans 8:28 says and we know that all things work to the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose. This is awesome! We actually have hope and bad things work for the God's purpose.

So take heart because even in the midst of tragedy God can do amazing and incredible things.
