MLB: Cleveland Indians at Texas Rangers

Hello Everyone, The American League Champion Cleveland Indians are off to an excellent start. The Indians have taken their First Series of the new 2017 MLB season. This comes as a result of a 4-3 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Cleveland had some big stars of the game last night.

Carols Santana, He went 2-4 with 2 RBI'S along with 1 run.

Michael Brantley did some damage in his 2nd game back form a season ending injury last year. He went 2-4 with an RBI. Welcome Back Michael.

Austin Jackson He went 2-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

The Rangers also had some stand out guys from last night as well.

Mike Napoli, The Former Indian went 1-3 with 1 RBI and a Run.

Rougned Odor went 1-4 with 2 strikeouts.

Nomar Mazara  went 2-4 with 1 run

The Indians starting pitching was pretty good but it could have been better.

Carols Carrasco went 5.2 innings he had 7 strikeouts. But he did allow 4 hits, 2 Earned Runs, 1 Home Run. So with that being said there's cause for concern.

Cody Allen got the save only allowing 1 run and 2 hits. But he did strike out 3 to close out the game and get the first win for the Cleveland Indians in their defense of their American League Championship.

Indians Manager Terry Francona talked to reporters after the game. Tito told reporters, I am happy about taking the first two games of the season. But we are at the beginning. I want to see how things go when we get to the summer. And then we will see how things are going. But for now I'm pretty happy on how things are going right now.

Well Tito Decided to take the more conservative approach. Here's my take, The Season just started and Terry Francona and the Indians organization realizes that along with the Players. The season is still young, Francona wants to wait and see where the Indians are at the All-Star Break, then they'll will see if the Indians are in playoff contention. But I will say this with everybody back and healthy, you better believe that the Indians are going to be a nightmare for everybody in Major League Baseball and there could be talk of another World Series Run. I'm not saying anything yet but you better believe that's what the Indians are shooting for. But In closing I will say this it's early so let's hold off on making World Series plans until at least the All-Star Break at the earliest. I feel the Same way Tito does, let's not talk postseason until we are sure we're in that position. But taking the first series of the season is surely a Big Help and an Excellent Start.
