Team Undisputed Paves The Way For Keagan Wroots

Following his victory at Last Fighter Standing Last (LFS) last year, Keagan Wroots has turned Pro. MMA SA made a resolution that every MMA fighter who has won LFS will no longer be able to compete as an amateur due to the fact that they have been remunerated. This is inline with the IMMAF rules that South Africa has adopted.

While some thought Wroots had disappeared from the South African MMA scene, Lizette Du Plessis confirmed that a lot has been happening in the background. "In November, Keagan turned pro," said Du Plessis who is the team manager at Team Undispituted. "We did his license and he passed with flying colours."

Du Plessis said that since this was a big step for Wroots, she had been working tirelessly to bring in sponsors for the LFS champion. "I got him out of this world sponsors to make sure he is looked after especially since the break in between fights for pro's are a few good months," she explained.

Du Plessis also confirmed that Wroots is now part of the Fightstar new signings, following the organisation signing some big names including Juan Lubbe and Hanru botha. "If all goes well, he will make his debut in May," added Du Plessis.

According to Du Plessis, Bad Boy is one of the sponsors on board and will be sponsoring Wroots with clothing.
