Gamecucked: Gonzaga Steals Spot in Title Game With Smart Foul Late

NCAA Basketball: Final Four-South Carolina vs Gonzaga

The run has ended. The Gonzaga Bulldogs have clinched a spot in their first ever championship game with a 77-73 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks. Nigel Williams Goss led the way with 23 points and Zach Collins tacked on a 14/13 double double for the Bulldogs. It appeared as if the game was over with 11 minutes to go until South Carolina used a well balanced attack to go on a 16-0 run to take the lead with 7 minutes to go. Zach Collins hit the free throw that gave the Zags a 3 point lead with 1:35 left to go, then a very smart up 3 foul by Josh Perkins that disqualified him from the game with 3.5 seconds to go closed the books on South Carolina's magical run. Hats off to Frank Martin and the Gamecocks on their incredible stretch, but its the Zags moving on to Monday night where they will meet the winner of UNC/Oregon.
