Scott Frost Doesn't Care About Your Stupid Fake Rivalry

College football has numerous rivalry games that make it one of the greatest sports on the planet. But it also has it's fair share of manufactured useless rivalry games that they expect us to care about. UCF head coach Scott Frost doesn't care about your stupid manufactured rivalry.

The Civil Conflict is a rivalry game that was started a few years ago. UConn head coach Bob Diaco may as well have thrown a dart blindfolded at a list of winnable games for UConn to decide who he'd choose as it's new artificial "rival."

It was decided that UCF would be the lucky team to be part of this irrelevant rivalry that doesn't exist, and a meaningless trophy was made for this pointless game. Frost and UCF won this fabricated rivalry game 24-16 this past Saturday, and left the valueless trophy behind. It was UCF's 2nd win in the 4 games this forged rivalry has existed.
UConn won the previous 2 meetings (37-29 ) (40-13), after UCF won the 1st game since the phony fairy tale rivalry was created (62-17).
After the win on Saturday, when Scott Frost and UCF left the dumb trophy where it was, they showed exactly what this counterfeit rivalry means to them. Hey, maybe that will actually start a real rivalry. Nah....... But it did help me brush up on all my synonyms for "fake".
