Canada Battles Europe For WCOH Trophy

I was not surprised at all.

I knew weeks ago, I wrote that Team North America or Team Europe were going to possibly be in the World Cup Of Hockey (WCOH) Finals.

Why not?

Both North America and Europe proved in the pre-tournament round that the teams were competitive when playing the NHL veterans.

Well, Team Europe managed to defeat Sweden 3-2 in overtime yesterday to advance to the WCOH Finals.

Of course, Europe is going to face Team Canada in the best-of-three series, starting tomorrow night.

However Canadian fans, don't you dare think it is going to be a cake walk.

Canada is going to have to win twice to capture the WCOH trophy.

Canada is going to have to play Europe twice, possibly even three times, depending how the series goes.

That give Europe plenty of time to figure out Carey Price.

Europe also has Jaroslav Halak in net.  He's has had a good tournament.

The good news is Canada won't have to face Hendrik Lundqvist,.  Despite his age, he is still amongst the best goalies in the NHL, possibly the world.
