Rumour Mill: Blue Jays Eying Fowler
Toronto Blue Jays are eying Dexter Fowler.
For the first time in days, the world sports is quiet.
However, I did come across this rumour.
Our good friend, Jon Morosi from MLB Network is reporting that the Toronto Blue Jays are pursuing Chicago Cubs centerfielder, Dexter Fowler.
However, it is not what Blue Jays fans are going to be thinking when reading this post.
The Jays are probably going to sign Fowler, not to replace Jose Bautista or Edwin Encarnacion, but to fill the gap if the team part ways with Michael Saunders.
In 2016, Fowler hit .276, 17 homeruns, stole 13 bases and had 48 RBIs.
In other news, rumour has it that the New York Yankees are eying Encarnacion.
Whooah!! Imagine Edwin in a Yankee's uniform. Blue Jay's pitchers probably be cringing every time he comes to the plate.
