The OSL falcons One of NYC’s hottest independent teams made a lot of noise in the 2017-18 season, and they will look to do it again this season.

The Falcons have one of the top backcourts in the city in Dashawn Davis and Posh Alexander. Alexander rose In the rankings as one of the top 50 players in the class of 2020, while Davis shined in his first summer playing in the EYBL circuit with the New York lightning as well as become a household name across the New York City.

Both Alexander and Davis have the quickness, athleticism, and toughness to go up against any backcourt in the city as well as the nation. Don’t let the height of both players fool you. Max Amadasun and Bernard Kouma will continue to put in work in the frontcourt this season against some of the top big men in the nation.

The Falcons have a very tough national schedule, but one thing we know for sure is that the Falcons have proven that they can compete with anyone.

11/30/18 vs Tennessee Prep - 12/1/18 vs Prolific Prep

The Falcons start the 2018-19 season by playing in one of the top high school basketball, The Marshall County Hoopfest in Kentucky. Coach Pete Weyhe is putting his team to the test early. All New Yorkers and followers of Posh Alexander should mark the December 1st game vs. Prolific Prep on the calendar and bookmark the link to the live stream because Alexander will be going up against Nimari Burnett in a matchup of two of the best point guards in the class of 2020.

December 9th vs. SPIRE Institute (OH) at the PSA Cardinal Prep Showcase

So many schools decided not to play Spire Institute, and that’s understandable, but the Falcons are one of many teams that want the smoke with any squad regardless of who they have. The Falcons will have a chance to go up against one of the nations hottest teams in the country that feature Rocket Watts Isaiah Jackson and Lamelo Ball. If you can’t make it to the Hill school to see the game in person. There will definitely be a live stream for this game.

12/11/18 vs. Putnam Science Academy

This will be one of two meetings between both teams that feature players from New York City on both sides. The last time these two teams met. PSA beat OSL in the GAC championship. In this game, the Falcons will be looking to avenge that loss against the defending national Prep champions.

12/16/18 vs. Blair Academy (NJ)

The Falcons will be closing out the annual city legends invitational as they will play Blair Academy out of Jersey. Blair features UPenn bound guard Jordan Dingle and 2020 wing Jabri Abdur-Rahim.

12/17/18 vs. Roselle Catholic at the Kyrie Irving Invitational @ Barclays Center

The Falcons against New Jersey Powerhouse Roselle Catholic at the home of the Brooklyn Nets should be one game the whole city should attend. The Falcons will be going up against a tough Roselle Squad that features Kentucky bound wing Khalil Whitney and UNLV bound guard Josh Pierre-Louis.

1/20/19 vs. Woodrow Wilson (DC) Big North Shootout

The Falcons will have a chance to go up against DC powerhouse Woodrow Wilson at the Big North Shootout in Brooklyn during MLK Weekend. DC is by far one of the top cities when it comes to the best basketball players in the nation, and many people believe that NYC teams can’t compete with teams from DC this will be one game where bragging rights will be on the line.

2018-19 outlook and prediction

The Falcons have a very challenging schedule but has they have shown last year they are built for any challenge that comes their way. The goal for this team is to win their conference and the Grind session World championship and with the schedule they have they all be prepared when that time comes.
