Robinson Cano hit the game-winning solo homerun in the top of the 10th for the American League. It was the 88th MLB All-Star Game in Miami and the final score was 2 to 1.

Cano was also named MVP. In the fifth inning, Miguel Sano hit an RBI single for the American League. In the sixth inning, Yadier Molina hit a solo homerun for the National League.

Craig Kimbrel was the winning pitcher for the American League. He pitched one inning and gave up two walks, but Kimbrel struck out two batters.
