Chiefs Sweep Raiders

Kansas City isn't a flashy team, but they seem to be getting the job done weekly. They swept the season with the season series with the Oakland Raiders by beating them 21 to 13 last night. Kansas City moves to first place in the AFC West with a 10-3 record.

In the two games these two met, the Oakland Raiders scored 23 points total. With the Chiefs down 3 to 0 in the second-quarter, they scored 3 touchdowns by Tyreek Hill 36-yard pass from Alex Smith, Charcandrick West 3-yard touchdown run, and Tyreek Hill 78-yard punt return.

Alex Smith finished with 264 passing yards 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Travis Kelce led the team in receiving with 5 catches for 101 yards receiving. Tyreek Hill had 6 catches for 66 yards receiving and 1 touchdown.

Before halftime, Latavius Murray scored on a 1-yard touchdown run for the Raiders. Murray finished with 103 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.

Derek Carr only threw for 117 yards for the Raiders. Amari Cooper was the leading receiver with 5 catches for 29 yards. The Raiders were down 21 to 13 in the third-quarter, and the holder botched the snap on the field goal attempt, which pretty much put the icing on the cake.

Kansas City will host the Tennessee Titans (6-6) next Sunday.
