Cowboys Offense Bursts Late in Win over Giants

The Dallas Cowboys scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth-quarter to lift the Cowboys to a 30-10 win over the New York Giants. Eli Manning also started again for the Giants. He received a loud standing ovation from the fans. Steve Spagnuolo was named interim head coach after the Giants fired Ben McAdoo earlier in the week.

With the game tied at 3 in the second-quarter, Eli Manning threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Rhett Ellison. Manning completed 31-of-46 passes for 228 yards one touchdown and two interceptions. Ellison finished with four receptions for 20 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Later in the second, Dak Prescott threw a slant route and Dez Bryant took it 50 yards for a touchdown. Bryant finished with three catches for 73 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Jason Witten caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott in the fourth. Rod Smith also caught a screen pass and took it 81 yards to the house in the fourth and he also scored on a 15-yard touchdown run. Smith rushed for 47 yards on six carries and a touchdown. He also caught five passes for 113 yards receiving and a touchdown.

The Dallas Cowboys will be at the Oakland Raiders (6-7) next Sunday and the New York Giants will host the Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) next Sunday.
