Dak Prescott Plays Superman in Cowboys Comeback Win

On a night where Dez Bryant returned for the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed as if the Cowboys offense was going to be impeccable. However it seemed to struggle for most of the game, until Dak Prescott played hero ball. He threw for 287 yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, along with 38 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.

Prescott threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Jason Witten in overtime with 7:56 remaining in overtime in a 29-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Prescott rushed for a 7-yard score in the first-quarter.

In the second quarter, Ryan Matthews scored on a 1-yard rushing touchdown. Darren Sproles would have a better than him rushing for 86 yards.

With the Eagles leading 13 to 10 in the third-quarter, Carson Wentz threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews. Wentz threw for 202 yards and 1 touchdown. Matthews had 11 catches for 65 yards receiving and 1 touchdown.

With the Cowboys trailing 20 to 10 in third-quarter on a fourth-and-8 from their own 27-yard line, Chris Jones faked the punt and ran it 30 yards for a first down. That would energize the Cowboys but that would only result in a Dan Bailey field goal.

When the score was 23 to 13 early in the fourth, Wendell Smallwood fumbled for the Eagles and the Cowboys recovered it. However, it would also result in another Dan Bailey field goal attempt.

With 3:11 remaining in regulation, Dak threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant. Bryant had 4 catches for 113 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Dallas Cowboys will travel to the Cleveland Browns (0-8) next Sunday.
