Everson Griffen Signs Contract Extension

Everson Griffen has signed a four-year contract extension worth $58 million to stay with the Minnesota Vikings. $34 million is guaranteed, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Griffen's current contract is over at the end of the 2018 season and his new contract will begin in the 2019 season. He went to his second consecutive pro-bowl last season. His stats were 48 tackles, 8 sacks, three fumble recoveries , two forced fumbles, and one touchdown last season with the Vikings,

Griffen is 29 years old. He is a solid pass rusher and run stopper.
