Hagelin Scores Winner; Fleury Replaces Murray

Patric Hornqvist thought about a one timer, but he decided to pass it to Carl Hagelin instead.  He ripped it home with 4:15 remaining in the game to lift the Penguins to a 3 to 2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. The other story of the night was Marc-Andre Fleury replacing Matt Murray after the second-period.

Murray made 25 saves in 2 periods. He left the game with a lower body injury. It can't be that bad if he was sitting on the bench in the third-period and he skated on the ice to greet Fleury after the game. Fleury made 19 saves in the third period.

Defenseman Trevor Daley returned to the lineup as well. In the first period, Elias Lindholm scored for the Hurricanes. In the second period, Sidney Crosby scored for the Penguins. Lee Stempniak scored for the Hurricanes.

In the third period, Chris Kunitz tied the game for the Penguins and the rest was history. Cam Ward made 23 saves for the Hurricanes.  These teams will play each other 3 more times this season.
