It hasn't even been a week since the Stanley Cup Finals ended and teams are already wheeling and dealing. Goalie Mike Smith was traded to the Calgary Flames for goalie Chad Johnson, defenseman Brandon Hickey, and a conditional third-round pick to the Arizona Coyotes.

This trade was definitely a surprise. Smith has two more years remaining on his six year deal. He played in 55 games with the Coyotes last season. His record was 19-26-9 with a 2.92 GAA and a .914 save percentage, along with three shutouts.

Chad Johnson played in 36 games last season with the Flames. His record was 18-15-1 with a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage, along with three shutouts. Hickey played in 41 games last season with Boston University. He scored 4 goals and had 11 assists. Hickey was a third-round pick in the 2014 draft.

Calgary has solidified its goalie situation for now. Both Chad Johnson and Brian Elliott are set to become unrestricted free agents July 1st.
