The second round techincally started today, but I didn't want to write this article until the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers series concluded. That was the only series that went seven games, and I actually predicted that correctly.

The second round should get a little bit more interesting, but who even knows?

Eastern Conference: (4) Washington Wizards vs (1) Boston Celtics: If the Boston Celtics needed a Rajon Rondo injury to help them get past the Chicago Bulls, what do you think John Wall and Bradley Beal are going to do to them? Isaiah Thomas might steal a game or two, but in reality the Wizards are in win now mode. The pick: Washington in 5.

(3) Toronto Raptors vs (2) Cleveland Cavaliers: This is a very intriguing series. It won't be cakewalk for the Cavaliers. Toronto's front court will present challenges for Cleveland, but the Raptors have no one who could guard Lebron James. Demar Derozan played well in the first round and he will probably play well again. Expect J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to guard him to try and disrupt his rhythm. Kyrie Irving will out shine Kyle Lowry. The pick: Cleveland in 6.

Western Conference: (5) Utah Jazz vs (1) Golden State Warriors: The Utah Jazz have better down low presence than the Golden State Warriors do. Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors will cause headaches down low and if they don't get into foul trouble, they could give the Warriors a run for their money. The problem is Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and a company are on a mission to win the title. The pick: Golden State in 6.

(3) Houston Rockets vs (2) San Antonio Spurs: San Antonio should be concerned heading into this series. It took them six games to beat a Memphis Grizzles team who in reality, only had Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. Kawhi Leonard didn't get much help last series, and LaMarcus Aldridge needs to step up his game. The Rockets are ready to use their speed to there advantage and force the Spurs to run with them. If that is the case, the Rockets will be in good hands with James Harden, Eric Gordon, Lou Williams, and company. The pick: Houston in 6.
