Penguins Mute Blues

The Pittsburgh Penguins didn't want the St. Louis Blues to sing the blues to them again this season. Pittsburgh silenced St. Louis 4 to 1 thanks to Marc-Andre Fleury 22 saves. He made his first start in nine games, and maybe his trade value has gone up.

In the first period, Sidney Crosby scored on a slick back handed goal for the Penguins. Kris Letang and Justin Schultz scored for the Penguins in the second-period. Patrik Berglund scored the lone goal of the game for the Blues in the third-period.

Crosby scored the empty netter late in the game. Crosby is now 3 points away from 1,000 in his career. Jake Allen made 27 saves for the Blues. These two teams split the season series.
