Titans Steam Roll Jaguars

From the opening kickoff the Tennessee Titans played with steam and fire. They were 0-2 in divisional play on the year and couldn't afford to go to 0-3. They defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 36 to 22, but the Titans had a 27 to 0 lead at halftime.

The Titans scored 3 touchdowns in the second-quarter by Kendall Wright (36 yd pass from Mariota), Derrick Henry (6 yd run), and DeMarco Murray (14 yd run).

Wright finished with 4 catches for 84 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. Henry finished with 60 yards rushing and 1 touchdown and also had 4 catches for 37 yards receiving. Murray finished with 123 yards rushing and 1 touchdown.

In the third quarter, Blake Bortles threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Julius Thomas. Blake Bortles would score the 2-point conversion. On the ensuing drive, Marcus Mariota threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Rishard Matthews. Mariota finished with 270 yards passing and 2 touchdowns.

The Jaguars would score two more touchdowns in the fourth-quarter, but the game was already out of reach. Bortles  had 337 passing yards and 3 touchdowns.

Tennessee dominated from start to finish and they have the potential to be a playoff team. Tennessee will travel to San Diego (3-4) next Sunday.
