Will Carmelo Anthony be traded?

Carmelo Anthony has been quite the hot topic this summer. All NBA fans have been patiently (or impatiently) waiting to see if/where he will be traded to. Anthony has been with the New York Knicks since 2011. He was born in Brooklyn New York so I am sure it has been a huge honor for him to play for his states NBA team. Change is a good thing, though, and Anthony is ready for that change and anxious to see if he will be traded to the Houston Rockets (if he is traded).

To say that any team would be lucky to have Anthony would be an understatement. He is a 10 time NBA All-Star, he has an NCAA All-Star championship, he was USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year three times, and his college (Syracuse University) jersey (No. 15) is retired in his honor. He played one season with the Denver Nuggets before starting his time with the Knicks.

With training camp and media day just days away Anthony is nervous about wether or not a trade is going to be made. He is only willing to trade with the right team, though. Anthony hopes the trade will be made by Monday, but he expected it to take place much sooner. He wants to be traded to the Houston Rockets otherwise he will stay with the Knicks because of his “no trade clause” that he will not sign out of unless he gets put with the right team.

Scott Perry (manager of the Knicks) and Steve Mills (president of the Knicks) will address the media on Friday and will have all the answers to the questions we are all asking about the Carmelo Anthony trade.
