Dodgers could FAIL if they don't do this!

I am a huge believer in bringing in proven talent over developing talent when you already have majority of the pieces set. The only exceptions for me are the development of top prospects or an over performing player in AAA, Call them up early in the season or a down season during September call ups. I also believe the Dodgers Bullpen issues would be eventually resolved if they were to call up Zach Lee, Chase DeJong and Frankie Montas. If not place them on the trading block and get back in the "hunt for the 1st Place." The last thing I want to see is another Giant championshp while F.O. sit on these eggs and never allow them to hatch and grow. Also, when Ryu and McCarthy recover or the Dodgers Pick up another ace, Alex Wood and Mike Bolsinger could potentially bolster the pen. The other weakness is lack of Power and Run support.

Dodgers on the Trading Block

Joc and Puig both have the limited star power and high value, but are drastically under performing. Hatcher, Yimi Garcia, Carl Crawford, Chase DeJong (22, RHP) 2.78 ERA / 53 K / .98 WHIP, Chris Anderson (23, RHP) 5.79 ERA / 20 K / 1.75 WHIP, Yusniel Diaz (19, OF) .254 AVG / 3 HR / 21 RBI, Jharel Cotton (24, RHP) 5.45 ERA / 51 K / 1.24 WHIP , Alex Verdugo (20 L/L) OF.287 Avg / 7 HR / 26 RBI, Cody Bellinger (20 L/L) 1B/OF .252 Avg / 6 HR / 18 RBI, Frankie Montas (23 RHP) ranges in the mid 90's - 102 mph, but lacks consistency. So let's talk trade.

Detroit:

They can't necessarily be counted out, but their superstars are aging and with the defending Champs in their Division plus being 5 games out of first and a below .500 their window of opportunity is closing fast!

Jordan Zimmerman (30) RHP 2.52 era / 40 K's / 1.52 whip

Nick castellanos (24 righty) 3B .319 / 10 / 32

Miguel Cabrera (33 righty) 3B/1B .304 / 12 / 32

Rockies:

It is kind of rare when a team within your Division works with you to get better and win said Division, but when you're under performing and for years now, I would think any team is suited for a potential trade given the right negotiations and offers.

Nolan Arenado (25 righty) 3B .287 / 16 / 43

Carlos Gonzalez (30 lefty) OF 199 .312 / 10 / 22

Yankees:

It's quite uncharacteristic to see such a successful franchise slump. They usually buy the superstars, but i think that might not work for them anymore. Time to build the farm and start over, and seeing your rival (Boston) succeed while you struggle must be heart wrenching to watch

Masahiro Tanaka (27) RHP 2.78 era / 56 K's / 1.00 whip

Andrew miller (30) LHP 20 innings .87 era / 38 K's / .63 whip

Braves:

The Braves are the worst team in baseball right now, but they seem to be one of the teams to always rebound because of their superb farm system. Their ace will demand a high price, just what is the question.

Julio Teheran (25) RHP 2.77 era / 62 K's / 1.07 whip

Arodys Viscaino (25) RHP 21 innings 1.66 era / 31 K's / 1.11 whip

Brewers:

First off, FUCK RYAN BRAUN I would not support his ass in Dodger blue no matter how well he performs because it could be another lie. With that said the brewers are having a down year and sit out of the playoff race by 13 games and having the Cubs, Pirates and Cardinals in your division. No place for sleep and they seem to have fallen asleep at the wheel.

Jimmy Nelson (26) RHP 2.88 era / 59 K's / 1.17 whip

Jonathan Lucroy (29 righty) Catcher .299 / 9 / 28

Blue Jays:

They are in the hunt with White Sox and Mariners holding the wild card and sit 3.5 out of 1st with Boston leading and the Orioles ahead of them. This looks like Bostons year with Ortiz and a rejuvinated Hanley

Marco Estrada (32) RHP 2.43 era / 48 K's / 1.02 whip

Joe Biagini (26) RHP 21 innings .86 era / 17 K's / 1.10 whip

Roberto Osuna (21) RHP 24 innings 1.13 era / 27 K's / .79 whip

Philly:

Although they are on track for a better season than last, they are still far from first having the Mets and Nationals in their Division. Having received prospects and overhaul from the Cole Hammels trade, they still need time to develop, might as well pick up some more pieces.

Aaron Nola (22) RHP 2.88 era / 76 K's / .93 whip

Odubel Herrera (24 lefty) OF .319 / 5 / 17

Cleveland:

They are not out as possible contenders, but they have a huge threat ahead of them. Just like Detroit, they have the Defending Champs, who seem to have woken up ahead and leading their Division. Some help in the outfield might be what they need for that push and with Uribe in the lineup, a reunion of Puig and him might be the perfect pair.

Danny Salazar (26) RHP 2.39 era / 72 K's / 1.14 whip

Danny Otero (31) RHP 21 inning .86 era / 17 K's / 1.10 whip

Jose Ramirez (23 switch) OF .310 / 3 / 19

Miami:

They have everything we want and need, but Mattingly knows that and he will demand a high price and he knows what we have to top it off. They are not out of the race, but they are not the threat to worry about, especially when 2 of the W.S. favorites are in your Division.

Jose Fernandez (23) RHP 2.53 era / 96 K's / 1.11 whip

David Phelps (29) RHP 29 innings 1.86 era / 36 K's / 1.07 whip

AJ Ramos (29) RHP relief 22 innings 2.05 era / 27 K's / 1.27 whip

JT Realmuto (25 righty) Catcher .300 / 2 / 13

Derek Dietrich (26 lefty) 3B .318 / 3 / 22

Martin Prado (32 righty) 3B .319 / 0 / 15

Marcel ozuna (25 righty) OF .333 / 10 / 27

Christian yelich (24 lefty) OF .314 / 5 / 21

Houston:

I mean they don't have much and won't be winning anytime soon, might as well pick up a call.

Will Harris (31) RHP 23 innings .38 era / 26 K's / .76 whip

George springer (26 Righty) OF 290 / 13 / 34

Other potential candidates, for aleviation.

Ryan Buchter (29) LHP / Padres. 23 innings .77 era 33 k .90 whip

Alex colom (27) RHP / Tampa. 22 innings 1.23 era 29 k .77 whip

Eduardo Nunez (28 righty) 3B / Twins. 159 ab .340 / 5 / 20

Danny Valencia (31 righty) 3B / A's. 129 ab 333 / 8 / 21

I doubt they'll let him go, but might as well try...right?

Chris sale (27) LHP White Sox. 2.29 era 76 k .88 whip
