The Hard Way For The Lakers To Succeed

IF BYRON SCOTT MICROMANAGED THE TEAM, THINGS COULD CHANGE DRASTICALLY FOR THE BETTER!

A couple of scenarios;

1.) Manage the amount of minutes per player and spread them amongst MOST of the roster.

2.) Shoot more at a faster pace! The "Gretzky Theory" - You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Reason's why: Currently the Lakers are averaging 41% from the field taking their time with the 24 second shot clock. Assuming they lower their 2 point percentage from 45% to 42% and their 3 point percentage from 33% to 30% per game, with minute management, this is roughly what the stats would look like.

Kobe Bryant is currently averaging 31 minutes and 17 FG attempts per game / 10 from 2 Point / 7 from 3 Point. He is burning out early in the season and everyone wants to see him in what looks to be his final season. Minimize his minutes for maximum performance, adjust to 20 - 25 minutes and 15 FG attempts / 12 from 2 point / 3 from 3 Point. Right now, the young core needs him to be a leader and guide. The final week of the season he could be Kobe Bryant and leave everything on the court.

Nick Young is currently averaging 20 minutes and 7 FG attempts per game / 3 from 2 Point / 4 from 3 Point, with a 44% success from deep 3. Once he gets going he is GONE! He spreads the floor, has great range with accuracy and provides some defense. Adjust to 25 minutes and 15 FG attempts / 8 from 2 Point / 7 from 3 Point.

Ryan Kelly is currently averaging 15 minutes and 5 FG attempts per game / 2 from 2 Point / 3 from 3 Point. Great Defensive rebounder (4) per game and able to attack the basket or spread the floor. Adjust to 5 minutes and 6 FG attempts / 4 from 2 Point / 2 from 3 Point.

Tarik Black is currently averaging 11 minutes and 2 FG attempts per game / 2 from 2 Point. A solid total rebounder (4) per game. Great in the fast break and second shot opportunities. Adjust to 10 minutes and 9 FG attempts / 9, 2P.

THE FUTURE BIG 3?

Jordan Clarkson is currently averaging 31 minutes and 13 FG attempts per game / 10 from 2 Point / 3 from 3 Point, with 46% success rate from beyond the arc. Young, energetic, very athletic, agile and aggressive. Adjust to 35 minutes and 18 FG attempts / 14 from 2 Point / 4 from 3 Point.

Julius Randle is currently averaging 29 minutes and 10 FG attempts per game / 9 from 2 Point / 1 from 3 Point. Leading the team in Defensive rebounds (7) and total rebounds (9) per game. Showing dominance and agility very young in his career. Adjust to 30 minutes and 16 FG attempts / 14 from 2 Point / 2 from 3 Point.

D'Angelo Russell is currently averaging 26 minutes and 10 FG attempts per game / 6 from 2 Point / 4 from 3 Point, with 2.9 Assists and 1 steal per game. We want to see him grow, we know he can be dangerous once he gets comfortable. Distribute the ball more, lead at the point and create more shot opportunities. Let him be himself and give him the ball. Adjust to 28 minutes and 15 FG attempts / 11 from 2 Point / 4 from 3 Point with 5 assists per game.

Larry Nance Jr. is currently averaging 18 minutes and 4 FG attempts / 4 from 2 Point with 52% success rate. Lob the ball to him he will be there and expose him more to be a scorer. Adjust to 15 minutes 8 FG attempts / 8 from 2 Point.

NEW

ADDITIONS

Roy Hibbert is currently averaging 27 minutes and 6 FG attempts per game / 6 from 2 Point. The only true center in the team and big defensive presence. Is co-leading Offensive rebounds (2) and leading in Blocks (2) per game. Give the big man more touches! Adjust to 25 minutes and 12 FG attempts / 12 from 2 Point.

Lou Williams is currently averaging 25 minutes and 10 FG attempts per game / 6 from 2 Point / 4 from 3 Point. Leads the team in free throw attempts at 6 per game. Very crafty at getting fouled from the 3 point area. Adjust to 22 minutes and 16 FG attempts / 11 from 2 Point / 5 from 3 Point.

Brandon Bass is currently averaging 16 minutes and 4 FG attempts per game / 4 from 2 Point, with a 51% success rate. Co-leading with Offensive rebounds (2) per game. Adjust to 15 minutes and 8 FG attempts / 8 from 2 Point.

Metta World Peace is currently averaging 18 minutes and 5 FG attempts per game / 2 from 2 Point / 3 from 3 Point. Still has what it takes to compete and hustle on the court. Adjust to 10 minutes and 9 FG attempts / 5 from 2 Point / 4 from 3 Point.

147 Total shot attempts per game. An additional 64 from their current stat

116 shot attempts from 2 point land @ 42% success = rounded to 49 made baskets = 98 points. 31 shot attempts from deep in 3 point county @ 30% success = 9 made baskets = 27 points for a total of 125 points per game. The reason why they have to shoot more is based on the low shooting percentage and the amount of shot attempts to miss ratio. To compare, the Golden State Warriors are averaging 52% from the 2 point field, 41% from 3 point field for a 48% total. Also, Golden State is only taking an extra 3.3 shots per game to what the Lakers currently are averaging (83.2). In order to out score and win games they need to shoot more instead of being more accurate. Since defense, in most games, is "lacking", getting out scored in the paint, whether it is though the pick n roll, defensive switching or just rebounding the Lakers will have to shoot more at a faster pace for immediate success. Let Lou, Nick, Jordan and D'Angelo shoot more from the 3 and get the team involved until the big young 3 develop and rule the NBA as we all predict and hope happen and soon!

Been in an accident, in pain, need help and don't know what to do?

Trust me, I went through the process of doubt, uncertainty, worry and physical pain. Who is going to pay my medical bills? Am i going to pay out of pocket for the attorney and medical fees? Will I receive compensation?

Robert B. Sarvian and his legal staff were professional, friendly and informative through the process. Even The medical staff they referred me to was so good I didn't want to leave. They took care of everything and got me a great compensation. Contact his office, start the recovery process and get taken care of (213) 385 - 6323
