Most Intriguing Games on the 2020 NFL Schedule

If the NFL is able to play football in 2020, there will be so many matchups to look forward too. It's hard to pinpoint just a few games, but in this article, we'll take a look at the most intriguing games on the 2020 NFL schedule.

Buccaneers @ Saints Week 1

There's no better week one matchup for the new look Buccaneers than the New Orleans Saints. There are so many storylines when you look at this matchup. For starters, this is the first time Tom Brady and Gronk will play a game with a team other than the Patriots. As if that didn't make this game big enough, the Buccaneers and Saints are division rivals. On top of all that, both the Buccaneers and the Saints look to be in contention for a Super Bowl title, thus adding to the intrigue.

Chiefs @ Ravens Week 3

After the Ravens missed out on the AFC Championship last year, we finally get to see the Chiefs battle the Ravens in Baltimore. The Ravens will look to make a statement by defeating the defending Super Bowl Champions. A matchup between the two top teams in the AFC is must-watch TV.

Cardinals @ Cowboys Week 6

At first glance, this might not look like the rest of the matchups on this list. The Cardinals? Yes, the Cardinals. Already one of the more entertaining teams to watch with Kyler Murray at quarterback, the Cardinals went and got him a top wideout in DeAndre Hopkins. The Cardinals have a chance at a breakout year in 2020. Their week six matchup in Dallas will be a good measuring stick to see where they're at. If the Cardinals can go into Dallas and win, the Cardinals will prove themselves to be playoff contenders.

Ravens @ Eagles Week 6

A Ravens vs. Eagles matchup is one we hardly ever get to see. The teams have only met five times. Both teams have young and entertaining quarterbacks. It will be a treat to watch Lamar Jackson and the Ravens take their run game on the road to Philadelphia.

49ers @ Patriots Week 7

The return of Jimmy G! Millions will tune in to see if Jarrett Stidham can outduel Garoppolo in New England. Aside from the personal connections, it's also a good football matchup. The Patriots had one of the best defenses in the NFL last year, while the 49ers had one of the top offenses. Bill Belichick and Kyle Shanahan will have a great defense vs. offense coaching duel in this one.

Chiefs @ Buccaneers Week 12

All eyes will be on this week 12 matchup. Anytime you can watch Mahomes vs. Brady, you watch. Unless they meet in the Super Bowl, this is likely the last time they'll ever face off against each other. This has all the signs of a potentially high scoring shootout. If the Buccaneers want to be seen as legitimate contenders, this is the game they can prove it.

Chiefs @ Saints Week 15

The Chiefs play in a lot of big games this season. As if facing Tampa Bay on the road wasn't enough, the Chiefs will also visit New Orleans. Mahomes vs. Brees is something to get excited about. Maybe even a bigger matchup within the game is the Saints secondary attempting to stop the dynamic Chiefs pass attack. A lot of people are predicting a Chiefs vs. Saints Super Bowl, so this week 15 battle would be a nice appetizer.
