In All the Tourmanet Commotion, You May Have Missed the Heels Landing a Grad Transfer

It is selection Sunday, so it is understandable that you may have missed the news that former Florida offensive lineman Cameron Dillard picked Carolina over Arizona for his final season. Dillard has 19 career starts at center, including the first eight games of last season before suffering a knee injury that ended his season.

Dillard helps to fill one of many holes on the offensive line. He will likely slide in at center, allowing the Heels to kick Tommy Hatton to the left guard position. This would mean that the Heels could have all but one position filled by someone with starting experience. Dillard will join the Heels for fall practice giving him about a month to learn the Heels offensive line scheme before the season begins.

Dillard joins Stanton Truitt as graduate transfers that will be a part of this years team. Will the Heels add anymore, particularly at quarterback?
