The offseason featured a reunion party for some old Panthers players. Both Julius Peppers and Captain Munnerlynn are back on the Panthers squad and could not be happier. Now is Josh Norman scheduled for a future return?

Josh Norman was offered the franchise nearly a year ago, but the tag was rescinded after neither party could come close to a long term deal. Apparently Norman really wanted to stay with the Panthers, but his agent did a poor job of communicating messages between the Panthers and Norman. Norman did find a new agent before moving to Washington DC.

Norman has signed a five-year, $75 million dollar contract keeping him with the Redskins through 2020. That is the contract he wanted all along. The Panthers were only willing to give him the tag (worth around $12 million).

Norman will be 33 years old when his contract with the Redskins expires. Often times defensive backs start to see their product slow down after reaching 30 years of age.

Per ESPN, this is his comment about potentially returning to play for the Panthers:

"Who knows, Norman said. "I am not a storyteller... I believe the man upstairs writes mine, and if he does see Carolina in the penmanship, then it shall be. Who knows. We still got some time to play yet."
