The Philadelphia Eagles' Head Coach, Doug Pederson confirmed that Quarterback, Carson Wentz has indeed torn his left ACL and is out for the season. Wentz left the game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday and there were reports after the game that the team feared that he had torn his ACL but still needed an MRI and further tests. Nick Foles came in and lead the Eagles to a 43-35 victory over the Rams for their 11th win of the season and reclaiming the number one seed in the NFC.

Doug Pederson announced what every Eagles fan around the world was fearing!

Carson Wentz sent out a tweet on Sunday night thanking the fans for their prayers and that he was proud of his teammates.

Just some reaction from players around the NFL and the sports world!

Finally, the Eagles season isn't over Nick Foles is more than capable of leading this team, he's a reliable backup that can come in and play. Foles is a former Pro Bowler, he's thrown seven touchdowns (Vs. Oakland Raiders, 11/3/13) in one game only one other QB has done that and that was two time Super-Bowl Champion and future Hall of Famer, Peyton Manning. Foles has also thrown 27 touchdown to only 2 interceptions in 2013 season. I don't know how far we can go with Foles but they still can make a deep run in the playoffs, I won't say the word but it starts with S and the second word starts with B. #InFolesWeTrust #NextManUP
