Will Derrick Rose Be An All-Star This Season?

The New York Knicks' Derrick Rose has been pretty much on point this season. Rose was traded from the Chicago Bulls along with Justin Holiday this summer in a trade involving Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon, and Jerian Grant who were from the Knicks. Rose by far has been the better player of those five.

This season so far, Rose has only missed two contests. He missed the most important game against the Cleveland Cavaliers where the Knicks lost and he also missed their game against the Sacramento Kings, which they won. Rose is averaging 17 points and 4.6 assists per contest this season. In their last game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Rose scored 25 points on 12 for 16 shooting. You could really see the old D-Rose in that game, driving here and there. Rose started off scoring 10 points shooting 5 for 5 from the field, in the first quarter. Rose had led his team to their fourteenth victory this season. The Knicks sit at 14-10 and are the fourth seeded team in the East at this moment.

I really hope to see D-Rose in the All-star game this season because I think that after all the injuries he has suffered and yet has still produced 17 points a contest, then the man deserves to still be called an All-star. Rose has many years left in the NBA, and if you believe that Rose won't return to his old MVP self, then I think that you are crazy! To be honest I think Rose will be an All-star this season, he won't start but he will play.
