Auburn Faces Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl, Who has the edge.

Hi everybody. The Allstate Sugar Bowl is just a few Days away. The 8-4 Auburn Tigers will face the 10-2 Oklahoma Sooners. So here's the Question who has the edge going into the Game on Monday Night. I am going to give you my take on what to lookout for and you will also get my final Score Prediction. Let's get started.

The Oklahoma Offense vs The Auburn Defense: Oklahoma ranks Number 1 in Offensive Efficiency. It's no wonder they had 2 Heisman Trophy Candidates in Baker Mayfield who passed for 3669 yards this season. And they also have DEDE Westbrook who at Wide Receiver has 1465 yards this season. But there is Bad News for the Sooners offense. And that is they will not have their star running back Joe MIXON who has been suspended after a video came to light showing MIXON beating up a woman at a local bar in Norman. But Despite that I feel good about the Oklahoma Offense because Auburns Defense ranks 10th in Defensive efficiency I am worried about the Auburn Defense because they really don't have anybody in the secondary that might not be able to stop Baker Mayfield or DEDE Westbrook. So the Advantage goes to Oklahoma Despite the Fact they will not have Joe MIXON on the field due to suspension.

The Auburn Offense vs the Oklahoma Defense: The Auburn Offense is questionable at best They ranked 39th in offensive efficiency. Their star Quarterback Sean White only has 1644 yards for the season. Running Back KAMERYN PETTWAY has 1123 yards rushing this season and their best Receiver is Tony Stevens who only has 466 yards this season. So you think Oklahoma's Defense has a HUGE advantage. HOLD EVERYTHING RIGHT THERE FOLKS. Oklahoma's Defense ranked 45th in Defensive efficiency. Their Defense played poor in their 2 losses to Houston and Ohio State. So despite the poor numbers on offense I have to give a VERY-VERY Slight edge to Auburn Because the Oklahoma Defense is suspect at best.

Special Teams: Auburn's place kicker Daniel Carlson has been fantastic at placekicking this season. He's perfect on P.A.T. Attempts this season {43-of-43} And he's 26-of 30 on Field goal attempts with his Longest being a 53-yard attempt this season. As for Oklahoma their placekicking is not something to brag about. Austin Siebert is 67-of-69 on P.A.T. attempts this season. But when it comes down to the Field Goal Department he's only 11-of-15 this season and his longest this season was only a 39 yards. So with that in mind the advantage goes to Auburn because if it comes down to a field goal Daniel Carlson is the guy I would want out there to kick the game winner.

Intangibles: Now in my opinion this game might be decided on who has the ball last. If Oklahoma has it last lookout because Baker Mayfield will make your life a living nightmare. As for Auburn their offensive numbers are a little offensive. This game will not be a turnover battle in my opinion. So with that in mind the advantage goes to Oklahoma because they have the offensive weapons that can get the job done. Now Despite the fact they will not have their star running back Joe MIXON available for the game due to Suspension I fell that Oklahoma has the advantage because of the offense they have.

Oklahoma wins the Sugar Bowl 31-24 over Auburn.
