Indians shutout Red Sox to go up 2-0 in the series.

Good evening everybody. The Cleveland Indians are 1 win away from going to the ALCS. They Shutout the Boston Red Sox 6-0 this evening. LeBron James was in attendance today to give the crowd a pep talk. James Also added " It is always us against the world. Cleveland against the world.

Indians starting pitcher Corey KLUBER was fantastic in the Indians Shutout victory tonight. He only allowed 3 hits in 7 innings of work tonight. Cody Allen came on to get the save tonight. Lonnie CHISENHALL hit a 3-run homerun in the 2nd inning. Red Sox starter David Price was not as lucky. Price only went 3 1/3 innings tonight giving up 5 earned runs. Price is now 0-8 with a 5.74 ERA as a October Starter he's also given up 11 home runs in 37 playoff innings.  The Indians have been unbelievable in the 1st two contest at home now the next question is how will they do at Fenway Park in Boston.

Here's my take on the Indians, The Indians only need to win one of the next three games to play in the ALCS. If I was Indians Manager Terry FRANCONA I would be telling my guys the following. The 1st thing we need to do is treat this like it's any other game. I know we're going to be on the road for the next game or 2 if it's possibility. But just go play like you have been and we can wrap it up on Sunday. The Indians pitching and hitting have been fantastic in the series so far. But game 3 is going to be on Sunday at Fenway park in Boston we will see if the Indians can sweep the Red Sox. I feel good about the Indians chances on Sunday because the Red Sox have played horrible in the 1st 2 contests of the series. Andi think the Indians will be in the ALCS.

Now to the other end Here's my take on the Red Sox. The Red Sox are going to have to go to the wall. They have lost the 1st two contests at home. David Ortiz doesn't want to end his career with a early round sweep in the playoffs. If I was Red Sox manager John Farrell I would be telling my guys the following. We are going to have to go the wall if we want to get back into the series we are going back home on Sunday. But we need to start hitting now because we are struggling badly and the pitching has been bad. Here's a case in point on the hitting department. The Red Sox 4 biggest sluggers Dustin PEDROIA, MOOKIE Betts, David Ortiz and Jackie Bradley Jr are only a combined 3-for-27 in the 1st 2 games of the series. The pitching has been nothing to talk about either look at today's starter David Price 0-8 with a 5.74 ERA that's bad. He makes $ 217 million a year. If he can't get the job done in the postseason he really needs to do something. And as for the Red Sox they need to get it together now or they'll get swept right out of Fenway. You can count on that.
