The sad story of Aaron Hernandez has finally come to an end as the former New England Patriots star commits suicide in prison. Hernandez 27, was found hanging in his single cell early Wednesday morning. He was serving a life sentence in prison for the 2013 shooting death of Oldin Lloyd.

He also signed a 5-year $40 million dollar mega deal with the team, earning a then record $12.5 million signing bonus (largest ever by a tight end).
