In the sports world nothing is guaranteed but winning and losing, so with that being said nothing should surprise us, Not even moving star football players. Well the Seattle Seahawks are possibly shopping all-pro CB Richard Sherman, that is if the price is right. The six year veteran has been a key player in the Seahawks legion of boom secondary and a leader in the locker room as well. According to NFL insider Michael Lombardi the Seahawks would entertain the idea of moving the pro bowl CB.

Lombardi said on The Ringer NFL show, "I truly believe based on what I hear around the National Football League that the Seahawks would, in fact— for the right deal—trade Richard Sherman."

Benjamin Allbright of 104.7 FM in Denver reported the Seahawks are not trying to trade Sherman but are willing to listen to offers.

Sherman is currently in the middle of his four-year, $56 million contract, Sherman is owed base salaries of $11.4 million this season and $11 million in 2018 before he becomes a free agent in the spring of 2019. He has 30 interceptions since being drafted as 5th round gem out of the Stanford university in 2011.

"I wouldn't want to leave this city and my guys, but I understand it's a business and organizational philosophies change," Sherman told ESPN's Gee Scott in a statement regarding trade rumors.

This is only a rumor but if you want Sherman's services it won't come at a cheap price so unless you are a contender with only one missing piece and Sherman could put you over the top, don't hold your breath on acquiring him or Seattle handing him over.
