Melo to the Heat? Just add Darko and you get the 2003 NBA Top 5 Picks
Well it would probably be a novelty and wouldn't work. Has any other team had 4 stars and made it work (Lakers Shaq, Kobe, Malone, Payton failed)?
But the novelty got me thinking, if I had to choose a top 5 draft class of all time, which would I pick?
What top 5 picks would you want?
And that said...there are some terrible drafts that would have zero starters on this Heat team -
Call me a product of the MJ era, but I'm going 1984. Best player of all time. Top 5 center of all time. Top 3 PF of all time, and servicable stretch 4, and then there is Bowie. I would still take those 4 vs any other starting 5.
