Blaine Gabbert praised by Jim Tomsula

NFL.com is reporting that Jim Tomsula really believes in Blaine Gabbert. "I'm a believer in Blaine Gabbert. I am, just point blank," Tomsula said, via the San Jose Mercury News. "We're building a team, in terms of the on-the-field play and the team -- Blaine Gabbert, that's a beautiful piece." Chris Wesseling (NFL.Com)
Jim you are completely wrong on this, and I know he is trying to build Gabbert's confidence. However, Blaine Gabbert is a just a decent back up at the moment. Now, I will Gabbert the benefit of the doubt he played on a horrible Jaguar squad.
However, the 49'ers would be in a even worse position if he had to start. Blaine is enjoying the nice pat on the back. Maybe, this will light a fire under him. I would be really happy for Blaine if he become a elite quarterback.
