Bryn Forbes is going to be a NBA Superstar
The San Antonio Spurs won a close game versus the Philadelphia 76'ers winning 95-91. Bryn Forbes deserves a spot on the San Antonio Spurs roster this year. Bryn was very impressive shooting 4-5 from three and he fixes one of the weaknesses the Spurs had last year in the playoffs consistent three point shooting. I think he can do a lot of damage beyond the arc if he is given a opportunity to shine in a ten to fifteen minute role. Bryn seems poised to becoming the next superstar in the NBA if he can keep this level of three point shooting up and his history at Michigan State proves he can.
I would love to see Bryn paired up with Patty Mills, Ginoblili, Simmons, Anderson, and Dejounte Murray and run the second unit together. I am still curious if the San Antonio Spurs sign Davis Bertans and Nikola Milutinov on the roster. The other interesting thing will be Boban Marjanovic can the Spurs still retain him with the Pau Gasol signing. The Spurs have some question marks but I trust the process will workout. I still hope Tim Duncan can return to the Spurs as a bench player and he could get twenty five minutes and it would be exciting to see the him try to win a sixth final. However, I hope he does what is best for him as he has already proven he is the greatest Power Forward of all-time with five championships.
The Spurs will play the Boston Celtics on Thursday and that should be a great game. I am excited watch these young San Antonio Spurs develop and keep a close eye on Bryn Forbes. He may have thirty points next time out if he keeps getting the ball in his hands. The two other story-lines is Jonathon Simmons who had a big game scoring 35 points a huge improvement from his rough outing versus the Utah Jazz. I am also intrigued to see if Kyle Anderson will keep dominating he seems to be growing up these past two games.
