A interesting trade occurred today ESPN reported between the Red Sox and the Rangers and it is a little bit desperate of the Rangers to make this move. I know the Rangers have Cole Hamels now, however the A.L West is so competitive.
The Rangers only hope is they nab that second wild card spot. I believe with a lot of luck they can. But, do they really need Mike Napoli to do it. Furthermore, Mike loves being in Boston. I know he can adjust to a new normal as a professional athlete.
However, I don't think this move helped either team. I hope that I am wrong, because it will be interesting if the Rangers do make a run. Baseball is funny like that at times, if you get hot at the right time; Bam! You are the champions of the world, like the San Fransisco Giants. Maybe, that is what the Rangers are trying to do, unless they know the Napoli will bounce back.
