Tim Duncan is the greatest power-forward to ever play in the NBA.

Today the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs lost a legend with Tim Duncan announcing his retirement from the NBA after 19 seasons. Tim Duncan was a class act and a humble champion winning five rings with the San Antonio Spurs. Tim Duncan always played with heart and he was unselfish always putting his team needs ahead of his own. He was a true a superstar on the court and off the court. He will always be one of my favorite power-forwards to ever play the game of basketball.

Tim Duncan is one of the greatest NBA players of all-time. I am going to miss his presence on the Spurs and it will weird to watch the NBA without him on the sidelines. I am grateful for everything that Tim Duncan gave the Spurs and his final championship in 2014 will always have a special place in my heart. Tim Duncan faced some of the greatest players to ever play and he never backed away from the Challenge.  Tim Duncan will be deeply missed from a Spurs standpoint and from the NBA standpoint. Tim Duncan's career is what every player should inspire to go out and play basketball and to try to win. Tim Duncan let his skills on the court speak for himself and he always composed. I am happy for Tim Duncan that he can leave on his own terms.

I really hoped that Tim Duncan would play for one more season in the NBA. Regardless, he will be first ballot and inducted into the NBA Hall Of Fame. He accomplished so much in his time in San Antonio that you can write book about his amazing accomplishments. I hope he will have some role in the Spurs organization going forward as a mentor. I think he can really help Dewayne Dedmon's growth.

Tim Duncan thank you for the memories and hard work that you gave the San Antonio Spurs. I am excited to watch your next steps. Lastly, while Tim Duncan can never be replaced. I am still excited about the future the Spurs organization has going forward. I am glad the Spurs smartly signed Pau Gasol, Dewayne Dedmon, LeMarcus Aldridge last year and they should still have a solid front court next year. I hope Tim Duncan has a great retirement and thanks again for everything you have done for the league and the Spurs Organization.
