Will Eli Manning resign?

Will Eli Manning remain a Giant?
Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The Giants have a difficult decision to make and that is signing Eli Manning to a new contract. I believe that they should pass on signing Eli, unless the price is right. I will give him credit he is a two time Super Bowl champ. He is also one the greatest quarterbacks in the New York Giants franchise.

I believe the key issue is Eli Manning struggles with turnovers. He also has lost a step in the past couple years. I believe the Giants would be making a mistake to pay him what the current quarterback market is. The Giants need to look for the future, and they should replace Tom Coughlin at the end of the year.

I know this sounds negative, but I really like Eli Manning. I do hope he bounces back and redeems himself this year. The only way he is worth keeping is if he can win another Super Bowl this year, or if he only wants a two year contract in the 20 million dollar range. Yahoo Sports,  "reports that he wants Ben Roethlisberger money."

I believe that would set the Giants back, and mess with their salary cap. In the NFL you can get hot at the right time, however sometimes being just mediocre is risky. The sad thing is I like Eli, however I believe the best thing is he leaves to a new team. I could see the Cleveland Brown paying him the salary he wants.

Do you think Eli Manning is worth resigning?
