Fantasy: NFL DFS Draftkings Must-Starts Week 3

Welcome to all my DraftKings players. Every week I will be picking players that I believe will help you win some money. Check out DraftCrunch.com to get all your help in building your lineup and see the projections. They are all about transparency and bridging the gap between the 99% and the 1%.

In this post I will be giving you players that are must-starts. All these projections are through DraftCrunch.com

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Matt Ryan QB ($7400)

Ryan has been hot early. He is 2nd in TDs and Passing Yards. He now gets the Saints, who have a terrible defense. Even last week, if the Giants don't turn the ball over, they could have easily scored 20-25 points. With neither the Falcons or Saints having great defenses, you can expect a shootout and Ryan has the weapons to put up some big numbers.

Julio Jones WR ($9500)

I am pairing Jones with Ryan this week because of the match-up. Jones will get a chance to go against the inexperienced secondary of the Saints. Last week, three Giant receivers all had over 80 yards each. Jones will have a chance at another 100 yard game and with Ryan hot right now, you can expect some TDs.

Matt Forte RB ($7000)

Forte has become a must-start every week. Forte has had 59 touches though the first 2 weeks. The Jets are making it a point to get the ball to Forte as often. He rarely comes off the field and in the red zone, he  has a chance to score on the ground or in the air. The Chiefs have been average at best on defense. With the Jets having three excellent receivers, they will be more worried about stopping the pass, Forte will get a chance with all those touches. All you need is a touchdown, to get the most out of him.

Deangelo Williams RB ($7500)

Another back that gets a ton of touches. He has 68 touches through two weeks. With RBs all you care about is touches and usage. Like Forte, Williams gets almost all the touches out of the backfield and the Steelers make an effort to get him the ball. Williams goes up against the Eagles and will be the favorites in this game. Teams that are usually favorites tend to feature the RB more because they will be playing with the lead.
