Week 8's Studs and Duds

Thursday:

The Jags and the Titans. Not so much the Toilet Bowl as it used to be, but these teams are not hot. The Titans run game dominated with over 200 yards and 2 TDs from Murray and Henry. Mariota did his part threw a pair of TDs. The Jags are just a mess. The stars turned out to be the pair of Allen’s, but other than that it's hard to find consistency here.

Takeaways: Murray is having a bounce back year and is playing like a first round pick when you got him for a third. And if there’s a better matchup, stay away from Hurns.

Sunday:

The Cowboys escaped a close one behind 100 yards from both Zeke and Dez. But the bad was notably bad. Julio Jones failed to show up along with Hunter Henry, Greg Olsen, Marvin Jones, and TY Hilton. Oh not to mention Mark Ingram is on the verge of losing his job to a committee. Have faith in Rodgers and Brady and deploy Jonathan Stewart often.

Takeaways: You might think your season is over, but this could be your last chance to turn it around. A lot of people dropped their studs early in the season. Be sure to look at the wire for them.

Monday:

The Vikings might have fooled us all into believing they were good this year. The Vikings lost to the Bears 20-10 and it's shocking to say the least. The Bears finally got the good Jay Cutler and Jordan Howard proved it is possible to run on the Vikings for 200 combined yards.

Takeaways: We had a Stefon Diggs siting and it was good for owners to see he still is part of the offense. While on the other team, Alshon finally got into the endzone with the help of Jay Cutler.
