Has Peyton Manning played his last down in the NFL?
One of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, might just have played his last snap ever. The Tennessee native is unsure of his return and with the news of both his injury and the non-return of Coach John Fox, many think this might be it. Peyton who was also unsure of his return last year when he played through a neck injury. This year it was his torn right quad that has bothered him. Peyton is one of those guys who is constantly think about his life after football, so you know that injuries will play a big role in his decision. Thus far, Peyton has been very short-worded when asked about his retirement he took Tom Brady’s philosophy of “I’m going to play until I suck.” At the same time, Peyton also wants to win another Super Bowl.
In my opinion, the timing just seems too right. An injury, a loss of your head coach, a tough playoff loss to your former team. Unfortunately Broncos fans I think this is where Peyton rides out into the sunset.
