College Football Playoff Rankings

1. ALABAMA-BYE

The Tide continue to roll after a 33-14 win vs Texas A&M and will have a bye this week. They continue their streak of Non-Offensive TDs and Freshman Quarterback Jalen Hurts continues to impress.

2. MICHIGAN-AT MICHIGAN ST

The nation's no.1 defense continues to impress against weaker opponents as the Wolverines dominated Illinois 41-8. But they travel to East Lansing to take on rival Michigan St. and after last year's heartbreak this rivalry game could get ugly.

3. WASHINGTON-AT 17 UTAH

The biggest question around college football is are the Huskies for real? Well, they have taken advantage of a down year in the Pac-12 but they aren't just squeaking by opponents, they are blowing their doors off. Another Pac-12 team awaits in Utah.

4. CLEMSON-AT 12 FLORIDA ST

The most unimpressive team thus far has to be Clemson. They aren't a disappointment because they haven't lost but they have not looked like the team most expected on a consistent basis. And if not for a missed field goal two weeks ago they would have a one loss.

5. OHIO ST-VS NORTHWESTERN

Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes still control their own destiny at this point because of the strength of the Big Ten and a date with Michigan Thanksgiving weekend. Their youth was going to be a problem at some point but they are still one of the most talented teams in the nation.

6. LOUISVILLE-AT VIRGINIA

Lamar Jackson is the front runner for the Heisman and needs help from some opponents of Clemson to get in the top 4. the offense is video game like and should have it's way in Charlottesville.
