The Disappointing AFC North

The AFC North had two teams they were Super Bowl contenders entering 2016 in the Bengals and Steelers with a potential third team in the Ravens as a wild card team. But after 7 weeks it looks like only the division winner will make the playoffs and maybe 9 wins is all it will take to win the division.

The AFC North is just 1-6 against the NFC East with Pittsburgh having the lone win against Washington DC.  They are 4-6 against the AFC East which isn't bad but even without the woeful Browns they are 4-4 against the AFC East and 1-4 against the NFC East. So it's not like the Browns are the reason for horrible record against the other two divisions.

Both Pittsburgh and Cincinnati have problems that are fixable but the Ravens have real problems. Big Ben will be back for the Steelers and the Bengals will correct their running game and both will make a push for the playoffs. This division race should be fun down the stretch.
