Top First inning: A 1-2-3 inning for Arroyo

Top Second inning: Arroyo gets another 1-2-3 inning including getting some help from Hamilton making a spectacular play

Bottom Second inning: Cozart extends his hitting streak to eight games, but the Reds come up empty

Top Third inning: Brewers get four runs on the board to take a 4-1 lead. Manny Pina and Orlando Arcia went back-to-back with singles to start the inning and advanced up a base from a sacrifice bunt from Jimmy Nelson. Pina scored to tie the game at 1-1 on a Jonathan Villar ground out. Eric Thames would then give the Brew Crew the lead on an RBI single scoring Arcia. Ryan Braun padded the lead with a two run home run to make it 4-1.

Bottom Third inning: Peraza gets on with a single and then steals second base for his fifth of the year, but that is all the Reds can muster here in the third.

Top Fourth inning: Domingo Santana gets a leadoff hit, but that is all the Brewers can do in the inning.

Bottom Fourth inning: Three up and Three down for the Reds who seemingly can't fine that offensive groove they had in that series against the Pirates.

Top Fifth inning: Eric Thames hit a solo shot to extend the Brewers lead to 5-1.

Bottom Fifth inning: Cozart leads off with a single, but the Reds come up empty once again

Top Sixth inning: Santana gets a 1-out double, but Arroyo shuts down the rally

Bottom Sixth inning: Reds go down in order as Nelson is really dealing here

Top Seventh inning: Drew Storen in the game to pitch for the Reds as he relieves Arroyo

Bottom Seventh inning: Cozart records his third hit of the night, but the Reds cannot get the offense going

Top Eighth inning: Barrett Astin in the game to pitch for the Reds as he relieves Storen. Despite allowing the first two men to reach base, Astin gets out of trouble with a double play and a ground ball back to the pitcher

Bottom Eighth Inning: Carlos Torres in the game to pitch for the Brewers as he relieves Jimmy Nelson. The Reds go down 1-2-3

Top Ninth inning: Astin pitches a scoreless inning to send it to the bottom of the ninth. Manny Pina was Barrett Astin's first career strikeout victim.

Bottom Ninth inning: Jared Hughes in the game to pitch for the Brewers as he relieves Torres. Hughes goes down 1-2-3 to end the contest
