Hi Everybody, The 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Is Around The Corner. And Everybody In Cleveland Is Going To Be Rocking And Rolling.

However I Am Not Going to Be Talking About The Major League Baseball All Star Game Just Yet. I Have Some Other Things I Want To Talk About, I Am Going to Talk About The Major League Baseball Awards At The Midseason Point. I Will Be Giving You My Picks For AL And NL MVP, I Will Also Give You My Picks For The AL And NL Cy Young, And I Will Also Give You My Picks For AL And NL Rookie Of The Year.

Now Let's Get Started... And How Do We Start.

National League MVP...

This One My Friends Is The Hardest Pick Of Them All At The Midpoint Of The Season. And Why Do You Ask, Because We Have Two Players Fighting Out For National League MVP, Cody Bellinger Of The Los Angeles Dodgers And Christian Yelich Of The Milwaukee Brewers Are Fighting It Out, And Like They Say In a Presidential Contest It's To Close To Call And Here's Why.

Christian Yelich Of The Milwaukee Brewers Is On Pace To Hit 60 Home Runs This Season, He's Already Hit 29 Home Runs and Has 62 RBI's This Season And His Numbers Are Nothing Short Of Fantastic. His OPS Is 1.159 This Season And He's Hitting .336 This Season And The Numbers Don't Lie, .336/.428/.731 So As You Can See Yelich Is The Favorite For NL MVP. But Wait We Have Somebody Else In Contention.

Cody Bellinger Of The Los Angeles Dodgers He's Been Excellent Himself This Season. He Has Hit 25 Home Runs And Has 62 RBI's This Season And He Has Been On a Terror Since Last Season. But His Numbers This Season Have Been Stellar, .353/.450/.702, Bellinger's OPS Is 1.152, And As You Can See The MVP Race In The National League Is To Close To Call. Hey They Might Even Have To Bring In The Electoral College For This One It's So Close.

But In My Opinion, Christian Yelich Is The National League MVP Because Of The Possibility Of Hitting 60 Home Runs.

American League MVP...

This One Is No Contest, Mike Trout Of The Los Angeles Angels Is The American League MVP. Trout Has Hit 22 Home Runs This Season And Has 56b RBI's To His Credit And His Play On Defense Is Great As Well. But When It Comes To Hitting Trout Is The Best Bet For The Angels, .307/.420/.578, And Mike Trout Has An OPS Of 1.108, So You Can't Tell Me That Trout Is The Best In The American League. I Know The Angels Are Struggling a Little Bit In The American League West. But I Will Say This About Trout, He's Great To Watch And If You Get a Chance To See Him Play It's Fun To Watch.

National League Cy Young...

My Pick For The NL Cy Young Is, Hyun-Jim Ryu Of The Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers Are Running Away With The National League West And Ryu Is Part Of The Reason. Ryu Is 9-1 With a 1.27 ERA And On Top Of That He Has 90 Strikeouts This Season. Now Stop And Think About This If You Have a Vote For Cy Young Of The National League. Ryu's 17-1 Strikeout-To-Walk Ratio Is Too Insane To Ignore How Can You Not Vote Hyun-Jim Ryu For National League Cy Young, Look At What He's Done For Crying Out Loud. If You Don't Vote Hyun-Jim Ryu NL Cy Young Then You Have a Problem.

American League Cy Young...

My Pick For AL Cy Young Is, Justin Verlander Of The Houston Astros. Verlander Has Been Excellent This Season. He Has a 10-3 Record As a Starting Pitcher. Verlander Also Has a 2.67 ERA. Now I Do Have One Small Issue With Justin Verlander This Season, He Is On Pace To Give Up 44 Home Runs This Season. Now Before You Say That Verander Is Not The Cy Young I want you to Think About Something Real Quick. Who Else Deserves To Be The American League Cy Young. Justin Verlander Has Been Pitching Great Since He's Come To Houston In 2017. So I Will Say That Justin Verlander Is The American League Cy Young. But I Will Say This As a Word Of Warning. Justin Don't Give Up a Bunch Of Home Runs And Don't Let The ERA Get to 3.50 Or Higher Or I Will Consider Somebody Else For The AL Cy Young.

National League Rookie Of The Year...

My Pick For The National League Rookie Of The Year Is Pete Alonso Of The New York Mets. I Know The Mets Are Below .500 And Struggling At The Moment, But Pete Alonso Has Been The Bright Spot For The New York Mets. He's 2nd To Christian Yelich In The Home Run Race And If He Hits 50 Home Runs Or More How Can You Pick Somebody Else For The National League Rookie Of The Year. And Stop And Look At His Numbers, 27 Home Runs, 61 RBI's, .279/.370/.634 And With An OPS Of 1.005 How Can You Not Give Him The Voter For National League Rookie Of The Year. Come On People Look At What Pete Alonso Has Done.

American League Rookie Of The Year...

The American League Rookie Of The Year Race Is a Sleeper. However At The End Of The Day My Pick For The American League Rookie Of The Year Is Brandon Lowe Of The Tampa Bay Rays. I Know His Numbers Are Good But There's Room For Improvement. One Thing That Lowe Needs To Work On Is Not Striking Out So Much, He Does Have a 34% Strikeout Rate. And Needs To Start Hitting Some Longballs As Well. He Has 15 Home Runs And 47 RBI'S This Season. But Some Of His Other Numbers Look Pretty Good If you Stop And Think About It, .282/.339/.537, However There's Room For Improvement In That Department And His OPS Is Only .876, The Only Reason That Brandon Lowe Is Getting My Vote For American League MVP Is Because The Rays Are In Contention For The Postseason. However If Brandon Lowe Does Not Improve On These Numbers, I Might Look Elsewhere For The American League Rookie Of The Year.

My Picks One Last Time Before I Go...

National League MVP- Christian Yelich Of The Milwaukee Brewers.

American League MVP- Mike Trout Of Los Angeles Angels.

National League Cy Young- Hyun-Jim Ryu Of The Los Angeles Dodgers.

American League Cy Young- Justin Verlander Of The Houston Astros.

National League Rookie Of The Year- Pete Alonso Of The New York Mets.

American League Rookie Of The Year- Brandon Lowe Of The Tampa Bay Rays.
