The 2019 College Football Playoff Matchups have been released and it's going to be fun to watch this time. The difference this time, No Alabama as they didn't even get a New Year's 6 bowl.

The Top-4 in the College Playoffs are..

No.1 LSU.

NO.2 Ohio State.

No.3 Clemson.

No.4 Oklahoma.

The Matchups for the College Football Playoffs are..

No.1 LSU Vs No.4 Oklahoma in the Chic-Fil-a Peach Bowl

No.2 Ohio State Vs No.3 Clemson in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl.

I will talk about the matchups in a second, but first the top-four.

No.1 LSU: LSU is the best team in the SEC, they beat Auburn, Florida, Alabama and they ran all over Georgia in the SEC Championship game. Joe Burrow is the best quarterback in the Conference and even in the Country. LSU also has one of the best defense and it showed in the SEC title game on Saturday. Some people are saying that LSU got some special treatment. I will say this, they ran all over everybody, and yes they even beat Alabama on the Road.

So does LSU deserve to be No.1, It does depend on who you ask. People will give you a difference of opinion, but it's up to you.

No.2 Ohio State: A lot of people in Columbus and around Buckeye country are saying that Ohio State got a raw deal. I know they beat three tough opponents in three straight weeks, Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin. Look at what the Buckeyes did this season. They beat five ranked opponents in the CFP Top-25. They beat Wisconsin twice and two of their FCS opponents won their conference championships. Ohio State has racked up more awards this season.

Ryan Day, BIG-10 Coach of the year. Chase Young the BIG-10 Defensive and Lineman of the year and he won more awards this past weekend. Justin Fields, he was the BIG-10 offensive player of the year. So yes the Buckeyes have done a lot already.

Can Ryan Day take the Buckeyes to the National Championship in his first season, we will see what happens.

No.3 Clemson: Everybody has accused Clemson of doing it the real easy way. They have no real quality wins. Their best win was against Texas A&M back really early in the season. But they do have Trevor Lawrence at Quarterback and his buddy Travis Etienne at Running back. However Clemson has only been tested once and that was against a bad UNC team.

I'm concerned about Clemson because of their weakness in their schedule and in the ACC Championship game they beat up Virginia 62-17. This will be the first real test for Clemson all season.

No.4 Oklahoma: The Sooners got in because of Oregon upsetting Utah in the PAC-12 championship game. And after the overtime battle against Baylor it's a miracle they got in at all. The Sooners have been living in the danger zone almost all second half of the season. They nearly threw it away against Iowa State, and they had to comeback down 25 against Baylor in their first battle. So the Sooners need to play better. Jalen Hurts leads the team in rushing and his favorite target at QB Ceedee Lamb is on of the best in the BIG-12.

Oklahoma needs to get out of the danger zone and play like they did against Oklahoma State a couple of weeks ago.

No.1 LSU Vs No.4 Oklahoma: I like this matchup because of it's Joe Burrow vs Jalen Hurts. The only difference is Jalen can run the ball. Joe Burrow can throw it like no tomorrow. However Jalen Hurts can Throw and run and he has Ceedee Lamb at his disposal.

Joe Burrow does have Clyde Edwards-Helaire if he needs to turn to him at all and believe me Edwards-Helaire will be a huge asset.

But in the end it's going to be LSU winning a close one.

No.2 Ohio State Vs No.3 Clemson: The Buckeyes are 0-3 lifetime against Clemson. The last meeting ended with Clemson pitching a shutout to the Buckeyes 31-0. You better believe that Ohio State will be ready. Clemson is a early 2 point favorite going in. But the Buckeyes have Chase Young at Defensive end. They Buckeye offense will also be ready.

Clemson will also have Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne, but the question remains the defense will they be able to stop Justin Fields and J.K. Dobbins.

In the end Ohio State finally beats the defending National Champions.

Bottom Line..
