We have reached week 10 of the 2019 College Football season. Sadly we have some huge teams that have bye weeks this week.

LSU, Alabama, Ohio State and Penn State all have bye weeks this week. The only top-five team in action is Clemson, they're facing Wofford, BIG DEAL.

But I do have two matchups that you could find very interesting. The first matchup could mean the winner is in the driver seat for the SEC championship game on December 7th. The other game is a chance for the Western division of the American Athletic Conference to take center stage in primetime.

No.6 Florida vs No.8 Georgia..

It's know simply as the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. But it will have a lot at stake as in the winner of this game could be in the driver seat to win the SEC east. This game could be a shootout in Jacksonville because we have the two best QB's in the East going at it. Jake Fromm of Georgia vs Kyle Trask Of Florida.

Jake Fromm is the real deal at Georgia, this will be his 3rd go around against the Gators. Fromm has 1,406 yards passing, nine touchdowns and three interceptions on the season.

Kyle Trask, give him credit where credit is do. He had to step up when Felipe Franks go injured against Kentucky and was knocked out for the season with a Broken Ankle. Trask has 1,391 yards passing, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. This will be his first go around in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

UGA head coach Kirby Smart said this to reporters.

" I'm looking forward to this game and I hope we can get into the SEC championship and I have a star QB and a great team to do it."

FLA head coach Dan Mullen said this to reporters.

" We have a QB and a Defense that can do a lot of damage and I'm looking forward to spoiling the Party for UGA."

Please remember that the winner of this game could wrap up the SEC East and go to Atlanta to face the winner of the LSU-Alabama Game on November 9th.

No.15 SMU vs No.24 Memphis..

This is a rare opportunity for the western division of the American Athletic Conference to take center stage with a primetime matchup on ABC. This game is so big that ESPN's College Gameday will be in Memphis for their pregame show.

This game has a strong possibility to be a high scoring shootout. If you look at the numbers of the QB's playing in this game you will understand, however we also have two very excellent runners that will be showing their stuff on Saturday night.

SMU: Shane Buechele, he's passed for 2,325 yards on the season and has 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions on the season.

Xavier Jones, he does have 884 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns on the season, so yes SMU can get it done on the ground and Jones is not scared to run the ball.

Memphis: Brady Whit is one of the most dangerous Quarterbacks that the AAC has and he's not scared to throw the ball either. He does have 2,161 yards passing on the season along with 20 touchdowns and four interceptions.

The Tigers have a fantastic runner as well, Kenneth Gainwell has 979 yards rushing along with 11 touchdowns. Gainwell only needs 21 yards to have a 1,000 yard rushing season, oh and Gainwell, make sure that Memphis wins this game or the possible achievement might not mean much if Memphis loses this game.

SMU head coach Sonny Dykes said this to reporters.

" The SMU football program has come this far to blow it now. We might be a top-10 team before season's end. But I have told my guys, one game at a time."

Memphis head coach Mike Norvell said this to reporters.

" We have a team that can spoil the party and we are at home. But my team knows what's at stake. We will ruin it for SMU."

Keep in mind that SMU is the Group of five school that could get a big bowl bid. As it stands right now SMU is in the driver seat for the Cotton Bowl. But SMU has to face Navy on November 23rd and that could be the game that decides who get's that possible bowl bid.

That Sums up the Weekend preview of the weekend in College Football, and my the best teams win..

Bottom Line..
