2017 March Madness Picks

As promised, here are the picks for this years tournament. We posted as clear of a picture as we could, but it's hard to get the entire bracket posted clearly. If any picks are unclear, just ask us for clarification.

A couple things of note:

-The South bracket is extremely tough. North Carolina, Kentucky, and UCLA all in the same bracket is almost impossible to pick. The feeling is whoever makes it out of this bracket made it through the toughest path, and will be the most proven of any team entering the final four. For pro basketball fans, this bracket feels like making it through the Western Conference.

-Arizona seems to have the easiest path to the final four. Florida State stumbled in as a 3 seed and may very well be knocked off before a matchup with Arizona, West Virginia and Notre Dame are both good not great teams, and Gonzaga always seems to be exposed in March after playing a weak regular season schedule. Could this year be different? Only time will tell. For pro basketball fans, this bracket feels like making it through the Eastern Conference.

-We don't have a true "Cinderella" pick, but we do have 11 seed Xavier making the sweet 16. It was tempting to go with Florida Gulf Coast to the sweet 16, but the gut feeling is that Florida State will pull out a close win before losing to Xavier in the next round.

-The Midwest bracket is just not fun to pick. If there is one bracket we are worried about going not at all as picked, it's the Midwest.

-Are we really going to have an all PAC final? Another Arizona vs UCLA matchup would be a fun one to watch. Arizona took the season series 2-1, but if UCLA wins a last potential matchup they'll take the 2-2 split gladly.

One last thing: We know this bracket is probably going to be a dumpster fire by the time the 2nd round is over, but that's all a part of the fun isn't it?
