Andy Dalton leads Bengals to a one point victory at the last seconds in Atlanta.

The Cincinnati Bengals traveled to Atlanta on Sunday to take on the Falcons and It was heck of a game to watch, both teams went neck and neck all the way to the fourth quater. The Atlanta Falcons lead 36-31, Andy Dalton knew what he had to do. He lead the Bengals to a 75 yard drive on 16 plays, he threw a touchdown pass to AJ Green with 7 seconds left on the game clock to seal the game with a 37-36 win over the Falcons.

Dalton finished with 337 yards and 3 touchdowns. Unbelievable, that’s Andy man said Bengals receiver AJ Green, he’s playing at an MVP level right now, curving up the defense and getting us in the right play, It’s unbelievable.

Andy Dalton has been with the Bengals since 2011 and has taken the Bengals to the playoffs five straight years but yet has to win a playoff game. He had his best season in 2015 competing 255 passes for 3,250 yards and 25 touchdowns before a season ending thumb injury.

His numbers dropped a bit last season but does not mean that he is not still playing at an elite level, if you think Sunday’s clutch performace was his first. How about his game winning touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd in week 17 of last season against the Ravens that sent the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. Dalton continues to have big games and along with AJ Green, him and Greem have become one of the biggest quarterback/receiver duo’s in the league. He may not have a playoff win yet but one thing is for sure after Sunday’s game, when the odds are stacked against him or if he’s a hundred yards away from a touchdown with one mintue left in the game, either he succeeds or fails, there is never quit in Andy Dalton.
