Philadelphia Eagles May Win The NFC East In 2015: Running Game & Improving Time Of Possession Are Vital

Going into the the 2015 season the main goal for the eagles besides winning games is to obviously keep Sam Bradford as healthy as possible. As a result of this goal I expect the eagles to call a heavy dose of the run. Now chip Kelly said that the eagles will split the carries between demarco Murray and Ryan Matthews ,

I expect demarco Murray to be used in short yardage situations as well normal situations because Murray has a bigger and stronger upper body as well as a slightly bigger lower half than Matthews which will enable him to keep his moving forward while a defensive lineman or linebacker is trying to tackle him on the other hand Ryan Mathews will be used in normal to long distance situations because Matthews is faster than Murray and can accelerate thru a hole quicker than Murray can. Matthews may also be used late in games when the eagles have a big lead in order to keep demarco Murray as healthy as possible for the whole season.

When it comes time for sam bradford to pass the ball I expect the eagles to call quick pass plays like screens , slants, curls etc. to try to diminish amount of hits bradford is going to have to take throughout the season. Whether it be running or throwing the ball the eagles have to make sure that they slow their pace of play offensive in order to somewhat improve the time of possession from last year which was 26:40 minutes because their defense is going to give up a lot of points

due to the fact that the eagles first priority on defense is to create turnovers which means jumping routes and trying to strip the running back and quarterbacks of the ball the downside to this priority is when the eagles fail to strip the running back and quarterbacks of the ball or getting their hands on the ball when they decide to jump the route the eagles are obviously giving the opposing offense a chance to make a big play downfield the rest of my argument is down below: https://youtu.be/alJ_kZ2fG60 : Disclaimer: I have a disability called Cerebral Palsy so it may be hard to understand me Do You Agree Or Disagree With This Argument
